This semester is off to a fairly nice start… A lot of homework but I like my professors and have friends in a few of my classes. A good teacher always makes a difference.
I’m going hunting in the morning – that will be fun.
Well, I have had almost a week of college under my belt now (yeah… a whole lot to judge on eh?). It has been a fairly good week besides the first two days.
On Monday I arrived to college right around 10:30 to finish off some paper work and then headed upstairs to my first class (Composition 1). I was greeted by a sign that said class was canceled. (Woo!?) I then sat around for over an hour waiting for my next class to begin, so that was a great way to start my day off. Overall math was easy as it was just a review of Algebra 1 and 2. I am currently a week ahead on my homework and should be acing this class easily.
Tuesday I arrived for just one class; Physics 101. It runs from 11:30-12:45 for lecture and then lab from 1:00-2:50. The lecture was quite boring, as expected, since all we did was listen to the professor go over his policies and syllabus and then give us an introduction to the public school education system and how much it needs to be reformed and how we are the generation to do it… The ‘excitement’ then began when we began lab. I sat down in the lab room, which is across the campus, not knowing anyone in the class except for two people that I met just an hour earlier in the lecture. I have to be the youngest in this class. Anyway, remember how I didn’t sit by anyone I knew? Well I met another person, and his nickname is “Idiot”, or maybe that actually is his name, because it fits him quite well. We did an observation/experiment with burning candles in the lab to show observation skills and how we need to develop on them. While my candle was burning, he decided it would be fun to poke his pen into the burning ball of fire sitting upon a wick, that happened to be in my candle. That’s right, he stuck his freaking pen into my candle! I did one of those quick “STOP!” whispers at him with the “I’m going to kill you” face. He then stopped doing that, but replaced it with talking about everything under the sun. Maybe his name is “Idiot who talks constantly”.
Wednesday was nice, as I finally had Composition class, and it was a great class since I had a friend in there who I know from high school. We went over all the basics of the class and then she let us out 10 minutes early. Great class! Math was quite easy as we had a quiz, which I aced. She then went on to teach us a lesson over the nights homework which I already had completed (go me!). It was nap day in Math!
Thursday was just a boring old lecture day for Physics, and I was glad to finally get out. The professor talks up a storm and sometimes gets a little off track, although it all does make valid points to his lesson, which may make it not-so-off-track, but now I am off track, so confusing!
Friday, well, we will just have to wait and see!

School starts on the 22nd this year, and it isn’t just highschool… it’s college! I am starting off the first semester easy with just 10 credit hours… and will be easing my way to 15-16 credit hours a semester.
Right now I am just getting my gen-ed out of the way and getting my Associate of Arts Degree. I am scheduled to graduate Spring of 2013, or Summer of 2013, depending on how much I push myself.
Howdy! I am Brandon, and I will be your host for todays show…
